Responsibilities
A Bank Physiotherapist at Barchester Care Home provides and supervises physiotherapy services in line with evidence-based practice and company policies. This includes initial assessments upon arrival, creating individualized care plans, delivering treatments tailored to each resident’s needs, and supporting them throughout their journey with the care home. The role offers the opportunity to use and develop skills across a range of care areas and may cover as required for annual leave or sickness, with varying hours.
Qualifications
* Degree in Physiotherapy
* Current registration with the Health Professionals Council (HPC)
* Membership with the Chartered Society of Physiology (CSP) and Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology (ACPIN)
* Experience at NHS band 6 or equivalent post‑qualification experience
* Empathy, dedication, a can‑do attitude, and a person‑centred approach
Disclosure and Barring Service Check
