About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced CNC Machinist (Miller) to join our high-performing Operations team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for producing precision-engineered components to exacting specifications and within tight tolerances. You’ll work with a variety of materials and component sizes, supporting projects in the Oil & Gas, Aerospace, and Industrial Bronze sectors.

Key Responsibilities
Set, operate, and programme CNC Milling and Mill-Turn machines (3, 4, and 5 Axis) to produce precision components.
Ensure components meet all specifications outlined in the works order pack.
Work closely with your supervisor and production team to achieve on-time delivery targets.
Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.
Maintain excellent housekeeping and adhere to company safety standards.
Support continuous improvement and LEAN manufacturing initiatives.
Essential Skills & Knowledge
CNC Machinist / Programmer (Miller)
Proven ability to set, operate, and programme CNC Milling and Mill/Turn multi-axis machines.
Strong understanding of fixtures, speeds and feeds, tooling, and machine safety.
Experience with FANUC, Okuma QSP-200L, ISO, and/or Mazatrol programming preferred.
Experience with live tooling and CMM inspection advantageous.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, hyperMill, or Mastercam.
Understanding of LEAN Manufacturing principles.
Experience & Qualifications
CNC Machinist / Programmer (Miller)
Demonstrable experience operating CNC Milling and multi-axis machinery in a precision engineering environment.
Previous experience in a highly compliant, tight-tolerance manufacturing setting preferred.
Competent with manual measuring equipment; experience with CMM inspection is an advantage.
Knowledge of Victor, Hyundai, and Doosan machine tools desirable.
Ideally apprentice-trained and holding a recognised engineering qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, HNC).
