Year 3 Class Teacher
Salary: London Fringe MPS1-UPS3 (£34,397 - £52,488)
Start Date: Immediately after Half Term (Monday 3rd November)
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Year 3 teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire - a short drive or bus ride from Enfield, North London.
This is a full-time, permanent position and is not suitable for ECTs. You will be responsible for leading a lively Year 3 class, creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
Monitor and assess pupil progress, using this information to inform teaching and support interventions.
Maintain high standards of behaviour, motivation, and discipline in the classroom.
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support learning and wellbeing.
Participate fully in school life, including team meetings, staff development, and school initiatives.
Lead a subject area if required, contributing to the school's broader teaching strategy.
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with solid experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 3.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
Strong classroom management skills and ability to maintain a positive learning environment.
Commitment to inclusion, equity, and raising standards for all pupils.
Reflective, motivated, and collaborative professional, ready to contribute to a supportive school community.
