WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Senior Motion Designer at Mayda, you will lead projects and work closely with our in-house creative and production team to execute on a variety of creative briefs.
Key Responsibilities:
Comfortable conceptualising complex ideas into a digestible visual vocabulary.
Proven ability creating project-winning visuals and concepts for incoming briefs and pitches.
Create high-quality 3D & 2D animations.
Act as the professional, client facing artist on projects as/when required.
Work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced studio environment.
Manage multiple projects, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
Stay updated on industry trends and apply best practices to enhance creative output.
Incorporating AI tools into various stages of design workflows
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
4+ years of design studio experience.
Proficient in C4D, using Redshift and/or Octane, as well as the Adobe suite including After Effects.
Working Knowledge and/or Interest in other industry tools such as Houdini, Unreal and Blender is favorable.
Working knowledge and/or Interest in incorporating AI tools into new and original workflows is also highly favorable.
Demonstrated understanding of design and motion principles – composition, colour, texture, pacing, etc.
Detail oriented and comfortable providing project updates as well as seek team/lead creative feedback.
Comfortable managing through influence and juggling multiple projects simultaneously.
Comfortable working in a rapidly growing, collaborative company environment.
Have a comprehensive portfolio showcasing 3D & 2D design and animation work.
