JD Pending Royal College Approval Main duties of the job Role The post holder will deliver high-quality care through a balanced programme of outpatient clinics, ward referrals, multidisciplinary team (MDT) work, and supporting professional activities. The role includes: Conducting urgent and routine neurology clinics, ward referrals, and radiology meetings. Contributing to multidisciplinary meetings, trainee supervision, and teaching. Undertaking administrative duties to support clinical practice. Participating in academic, study, and supporting professional activities (SPA), with opportunities for research and service development in collaboration with the local Research and Development team. Engaging in educational supervision, appraisal, management, and leadership roles where appropriate. The standard allocation is 10 Programmed Activities (PAs), with scope to increase up to 12 PAs in line with Trust policy, reflecting additional responsibilities such as subspecialty service development, clinical leadership, teaching, or research.
