Teaching Personnel is seeking a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to support pupils in primary and secondary settings within the DH7 area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
About the Role
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
* Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning plans.
* Promote inclusion and positive behaviour in the classroom.
* Support pupils’ emotional and social development.
Requirements
* Experience working with children with SEN (school or care setting).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
