Go back Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHSFT
The closing date is 30 June 2026
At the Ethnic Minority Research Inclusion (EMRI) network we believe for health and care research to be effective we need representation from all communities, in all different types of research, so we know that if something works, it works for everyone.
We've developed our work programme and priorities based on what the research community and local communities have told us, aiming to make research more accessible and open.
Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) are proud to host the EMRI Network. Previously hosted by the National Institute for Health and Care (NIHR) Yorkshire and Humber Research Delivery Network (RDN), EMRI is a regional initiative dedicated to improving the inclusivity of research across our communities. Its mission is to ensure that people from all backgrounds, particularly those historically under‑represented, have better opportunities to participate in, shape, and benefit from health and care research.
We are looking for a Project Manager (or 2 Project Managers to job share) to manage the day‑to‑day management of EMRI and Business Development and welcome applications from people with relevant experience.
The post holder will provide project management of the EMRI programme via:
The leadership of the EMRI team, consisting of the EMRI Coordinator, EMRI Hub Leads for South, East and West Yorkshire and the EMRI Languages Lead.
Ensuring programmes of research within each footprint are aligned with the EMRI strategy and mission.
Management of the EMRI budget to ensure accurate financial planning and balanced income and expenditure, including reporting on progress to funders and providing costings for new projects and initiatives.
Lead on plans for financial stability of the EMRI network and individual EMRI programmes.
Management of commercialisation plans for EMRI programmes, e.g. Cultural competency, Reverse Mentorship and Languages and Dialect.
Management of stakeholders, projects and processes to ensure the sustainability and growth of EMRI.
Establishing and maintaining collaborations with various research initiatives and partners to further improve the quality and impact of EMRI.
Lead the business development and marketing of EMRI through a clear approach to selling services.
