The role
They’re seeking a leader to own and drive the marketing function. You’ll work closely with the founder and be accountable for the team’s output, performance, and strategic direction. This is a leadership-focused position — less hands‑on execution, more people management, systems improvement, and results delivery.

Key responsibilities
* Take full ownership of marketing performance and outcomes
* Lead, manage and develop the marketing team
* Set measurable targets, KPIs and clear expectations
* Monitor results and ensure accountability across the team
* Plan campaigns and allocate resources to maximise ROI
* Diagnose what’s working and what isn’t, and drive continuous improvement
* Build scalable processes and reporting for the marketing function
Typical day-to-day
* Review campaign and performance metrics
* Prioritise team workload and manage delivery
* Run team meetings, check‑ins and performance reviews
* Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action
* Provide direction and problem‑solving support to team members
* Ensure marketing activity aligns with business objectives
* Report performance and progress to senior leadership
Skills & experience
* Experience leading or managing a marketing team
* Strong knowledge of paid channels (Meta, Google, YouTube) — strategic oversight preferred over hands‑on execution
* Ability to interpret performance data and make data‑driven decisions
* Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills
* Track record of improving team performance and processes
* Results-focused mindset
