Payroll Client Manager Dudley Permanent 12-month Maternity Cover £30,000 - £32,000 What’s on offer: On-site parking £30,000 - £32,000 per annum Monday – Friday (8 hours a day) Start time between 8:00am - 9:30am (flexible) Finish time between 4:30pm – 6:00pm (flexible) Half days on Friday (every other week) Pension scheme 25 days stat bank holidays We are on the lookout for an experienced payroll client manager, to join our clients growing accountancy firm. You’ll be responsible for running the end-to-end payroll for over 120 clients varying in size, business types and frequency, ensuring all deadlines are met and compliance is maintained. Key Responsibilities: Process payrolls accurately and on time, including processing starter, leavers and any adjustments Manage statutory payments with HMRC i.e. SSP, SMP, SPP etc Keep up to date with changing legislations and ability to research on more complex and new payroll matters Submit all HMRC reporting and deal with HMRC queries/claims Full understanding of auto enrolment pensions and able to submit pensions to different providers with varied scheme types Process year end reports and issue P60s Communicate with clients and internal staff to resolve any queries Being in direct contact with clients and managing their account Prepare payroll journals for clients Understanding of tax codes and tax efficient salaries Person Specifications: Excellent communication and organisation skills Ability to work independently and manage your own time to meet the tight deadlines A friendly and professional manner with all clients either face to face, over the phone or via email Ideally minimum 4 years payroll experience Knowledge of Sage Payroll and Microsoft products is essential
