Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (Home or School-Based) Location: Kettering and surrounding areas Hours: Flexible, during school hours (typically between 8:30am–3:30pm) Pay: Competitive rates (dependent on experience and qualifications) About the Role: We are looking for committed and empathetic 1:1 Tutors to support pupils in the Kettering area. This role involves delivering personalised learning either in a pupil’s home or within a school setting, supporting young people who may need additional help to access education outside of a traditional classroom environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs Support pupils with a variety of needs, including SEN, SEMH, or those not currently in mainstream education Adapt teaching strategies to suit different learning styles and abilities Build positive and supportive relationships to encourage confidence and engagement Track and report on pupil progress Liaise with parents, schools, and other professionals as required Requirements: Experience working with children or young people (teaching, tutoring, or support roles) Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices Ability to deliver flexible and creative lessons Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach Relevant qualifications (teaching, tutoring, or degree-level education preferred but not essential) Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable What We Offer: Flexible working arrangements Rewarding role making a real difference to young people’s lives Ongoing support from a dedicated team Opportunities for training and professional development How to Apply: If you are passionate about supporting young people to reach their full potential, we would love to hear from you.
