Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Location: England, Greater London, Croydon
Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours
Primary Industry: Education and Training
Salary: £95 - £100 Per day
Responsibilities
* Supporting the class teacher in delivering educational activities
* Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Providing support for students with special educational needs
* Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
* Supporting the planning and preparation of teaching materials
* Providing one-to-one support for students as required
Qualifications
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
* Enhanced DBS check
* First Aid certification (desirable)
Education
Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
Experience
Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a school setting
Knowledge and Skills
* Understanding of the national curriculum
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Good organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Teaching Assistant Level 3 Diploma
* Additional training in special educational needs (SEN)
Working Conditions
* Work in a classroom setting under the direction of the class teacher
* Full-Time hours with occasional overtime required
* May involve working with students with challenging behaviour

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
