What you will be doing: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business goals. Establish and communicate architectures which allow the business goals to be achieved and all functional and non-functional requirements to be met in line with industry best-practices. Contribute across the SDLC to maintain a view of the whole solution landscape. Support engineering squads in addressing technical challenges. Ensure security principles are adhered to Help improve Data and Security governance for the systems we own Assist with the forecasting and management of operational budgets and project budgets Help shape the practices of the architecture function The Ideal candidate We are looking for a highly skilled technical leader capable of driving transformational change and taking architectural responsibility for all of the products that are part of the remit of the Reach plc Product function. You will be an experienced Solution Architect with proven expertise working with diverse platforms and technologies in an agile and reactive working environment. You will be able to recognise the needs of web and native mobile app users and 3rd party content delivery channels when delivering business critical, secure and scalable enterprise systems primarily built using AWS services. You will have led the architecture workstream of projects through the entire delivery lifecycle. Experience in the Media and Publishing industry would be advantageous as would familiarity with content management and distribution platforms. You will also have experience in Agile product development, engineering and delivery methods. Experience with task automation and the principles of Infrastructure as a Service. What can we offer you?
