Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to residents in a care home setting. Duties
* Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support individuals with mobility and physical activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to senior staff.
* Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their quality of life.
* Follow individual care plans meticulously to meet the specific needs of each resident.
* Utilise IT systems to document care details and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
Experience
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
* Strong communication skills in English are required to interact effectively with residents and colleagues.
* Familiarity with IT systems is beneficial for maintaining accurate records and communication within the team.
* A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to delivering compassionate care are crucial for success in this role.
