Technical Facilities Manager (Non-containment) Contract: Government Location: Addlestone, KT15 3NB Hours of work: 40 Contract Type: Permanent We are seeking a Technical Facilities Manager (Non-Containment) to take ownership of a defined portion of the site, covering non-containment areas and some containment environments, including offices, animal facilities and laboratories. This role is responsible for ensuring effective day-to-day Hard FM delivery across these areas, with a strong focus on compliance and technical performance. Job Description We are looking for an experienced people leader with a solid M&E background who can manage engineering teams and contractors, oversee building systems and controls, and maintain high service standards in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs. Key Responsibilities Take ownership of allocated site areas across non-containment and some containment environments Lead, manage and develop a technical team of approximately 12–20 engineers Ensure day-to-day Hard FM service delivery, including PPM and reactive works Manage BMS building services and controls systems, including fault finding and maintenance Ensure compliance requirements are met and maintained across all areas of responsibility Assign and manage work tickets and preventative maintenance work orders via the CAFM system Produce technical reports and asset evaluations for customer sites Maintain risk registers, take corrective action, and support wider risk management activities Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications M&E background with strong technical knowledge Electrical and/or Mechanical qualification Proven track record of team leadership and people management Practical experience in Hard Services contract delivery, including NEC4 contracts Experience maintaining BMS building services and controls systems (fault finding, installation, inspection and reporting) Strong leadership capability with effective planning, organisation and customer focus Additional Requirements: Ability to carry out supervisory responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training, performance appraisal and issue resolution Experience working to SLAs and KPIs in a Hard FM environment Ability to pass CTC clearance The Company ISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
