Overview
Band 6 — 29 hours per week. Ward 44 is a Care of the Elderly ward caring for patients who have a range of medical conditions. The successful candidate will be part of an integrated service working alongside the specialist teams. The post holder will work closely with and support the department/ward manager and multi-disciplinary team members in monitoring and maintaining policies, standards of nursing care, staff and service development within the department/ward environment. The post holder will supervise junior qualified and/or unqualified staff including student nurses whilst maintaining a safe working environment.
