As a Senior Outcome Technology Delivery Manager, you'll be accountable for delivering outcomes through multiple technology teams, setting them up for success and representing delivery to stakeholders and suppliers. You'll drive efficient decision-making, embed effective governance, and build strong relationships across and beyond the organisation.
As a senior member of the Technology Delivery community, you'll share expertise, promote best practice and strengthen capability across the Home Office and wider Government. Within Data Services & Analytics (DSA), one of the most advanced analytics centres in government, you'll lead business-critical data and insight products, applying flexible delivery approaches to manage risks, dependencies and performance. By collaborating with policy, commercial, operational and technical colleagues, you'll deliver secure, resilient solutions that support the UK's security and prosperity.
What you will do
* Coordinate delivery of technology outcomes across multiple teams, creating and maintaining realistic plans and keeping delivery on track within quality, cost, and time constraints. Remove blockers to success, managing stakeholders and engaging with governance as appropriate.
* Develop motivated, functioning teams, empowering collaboration and delivery while giving direction and constructive feedback. Monitor the profile and health of teams and work with them to resolve issues.
* Help teams to understand, prepare for and engage with governance, and monitor the completion of actions required following governance decisions.
* Ensure that risks are identified, and their impact and probability are understood. Ensure risks are mitigated, involving specialists where necessary.
* Identify and understand stakeholder groups and their needs. Develop stakeholder engagement strategies and plans and lead teams in executing them.
* Act as a routine contact point for suppliers involved in delivery. Monitor supplier performance and help to resolve problems with suppliers.

This role requires SC clearance. To meet national security vetting requirements, you typically need to have been resident in the UK for at least three years. Unfortunately, we cannot offer sponsorship.
