Overview

Experienced Sub Agent (Freelance) - Rail Projects. We are seeking a freelance Sub Agent with rail & civils project experience to join a highly regarded Tier 1 rail contractor. This is a long-term contract working on significant civil works within a rail environment, offering a stable and rewarding opportunity.

This role is based in Wiltshire and will require you to work some weekends too. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term freelance role with a top-tier contractor and a great team. If you have the required experience and are looking for your next challenge, we would love to hear from you. This role is inside of IR35 and you will also need a PTS.


Responsibilities

* Creating detailed methodology and constructability reports
* Conducting and overseeing on-site surveys
* Contributing to the pre-construction process to ensure project success
* Collaborating closely with project management and on-site teams


Candidate requirements

* Proven experience as a freelance Sub Agent, ideally within a pre-construction and civil works setting
* A solid background in the rail sector
* The ability to produce high-quality technical reports
* A long-term mindset, ready to commit to a substantial contract
* The flexibility to work from our London office three days a week and from home for the remaining two
* A valid CSCS card, SSSTS or SMSTS and PTS
