Location: Midway, Bradford BD6 / Hybrid Working (two office days a week Bradford).
Work type: Permanent 37 hours per week, Monday Friday.

Smart Metering team with Waste Water Delivery are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators.
Yorkshire Water will be exchanging 1.3 million meters between 2025-30 and it is vitally important to maintain excellent data quality to minimise the customer impact. This role will be responsible for working the metering exchange exceptions and ensuring that all internal systems are updated with the correct meter asset information.
Responsible for reviewing the meter feedback and promoting any follow-on work needed in line with the smart meter contract. Performing root cause analysis to fix issues at source and working with the wider programme team to highlight and fix metering data inaccuracies.

As our Smart Metering Data Administrator you will be required to:
Support the team leader to identify metering asset record data inaccuracies and develop a plan on how to correct the errors.
Analyse the meter feedback in SAP and raise any follow-on work that is required.
Manager the meter rollout plan to make sure that all meter exchanges in a Cluster have been completed and work through any exceptions.
Conduct root cause analysis to understand why the data is wrong and put in place measures to ensure the data inaccuracies dont happening again.
Collect and analyse data to help the business understand current performance and where it should be focusing its improvement initiatives.
Work with the team to design and administer the meter exchange exceptions process.
Develop a structured plan to resolve the data inaccuracies across the business working with key stakeholders from Loop, Metering and Central Control.
Administer the smart metering mailbox providing support to customers.
Be the main point of contact for any smart metering queries from customers, colleagues or suppliers.
What skills & qualifications you will need:
Experience of processing high volumes of data.
Experience of using your own initiative to problem resolve.
Experience of working with different IT systems including MS Excel.
Able to build effective working relations.
Good attention to detail.
Confident in using own initiative and have an investigatory nature.
Well organised with good time management skills.
You will also benefit from having:
Experienced in Yorkshire Waters corporate systems including: SAP, YorBill.
Understanding of metering.
Experience of delivering against challenging business targets.
Previous experience in a commercially orientated and, or, regulated environment.
Effective communication skills, an empathetic attitude and experience of providing excellent customer service.
