Responsibilities include:
1. Supervision of ground investigation crews, including cable percussion, rotary, and window sampling crews
2. Trial pitting
3. Logging of soil and rock to BS5930 / Eurocode 7
4. Groundwater and gas monitoring
5. Production of Phase 1 Desk Studies
6. Assistance in the preparation of Factual and Interpretive Reports
7. Good Project Management skills
Qualifications and Experience:
8. Experience within the industry
9. A geology / earth sciences degree, or a master’s degree in engineering geology or geotechnical engineering
10. A full UK driving license
11. Willing to travel and work away from home
12. Be within a reasonable travelling distance of your office base, or be prepared to re-locate
13. CSCS Card & First Aid Training
