Role: Service Centre Technician
Location: Knutsford, Parkgate Industrial Estate
Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am till 5pm. 40 hours per week
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Service Centre Technician to join our manufacturing team in Knutsford. This is an exciting time to join the fastest growing and most successful family-owned valve manufacturer in the UK.

What You’ll Be Doing
Working out of the Service Centre which is in our stand-alone R&D facility, this position is accountable for the timely and accurate completion of all rework processes covering Oliver Valves, Oliver Valvetek, Oliver Twinsafe and Oliver Hydcovalves.
* Timely completion of rework processes meeting client needs.
* Investigation and root cause analysis into reported client failures and on-site issues.
* Detailed component inspection.
* Report writing.
* Remedial rectification work.
* Assembly and testing of reworked valves in accordance with international and client specifications.
* Hosting third party and client witnesses
* Maintenance of the service centre tooling and test equipment.
* Liaising with the relevant QA, Sales, Production and Engineering departments to ensure internal rework standards are followed.
* Supporting R&D workload
* Detailed component inspection, assembly and qualification test of prototype valves in accordance with internal, industry and client standards.
What You’ll Bring
* Assembly of mechanical components.
* Hydrostatic & pneumatic pressure testing experience.
* Component inspection.
* Computer literate and experience with Microsoft package would be an advantage.
* Reliability and a detail-oriented approach.
* Be a pro-active team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Have good numeracy, literacy and communication skills.
