OPAT Nurse - Forth Valley Royal Hospital

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Forth Valley Royal Hospital for an enthusiastic and highly motivated nurse to join the OPAT nursing team.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide specialist services to adult patients with complex infection related conditions on an ambulatory and hospital‑at‑home pathway.
* Support patients in the Day Medical Unit and extend care to home visits in partnership with the Hospital @ Home team.
* Work flexibly on a rotational basis with the OPAT and Hospital @ Home teams.
* Facilitate early supported discharge from acute care and prevent hospital admissions through the OPAT virtual ward.
* Safely manage complex infection disease in either setting, applying post‑registration experience.
* Collaborate with acute care nursing, medical staff and allied health professionals across professional and organisational boundaries.
* Prioritise fluctuating workloads, maintain focus, and adapt to an extremely busy environment.
* Travel throughout the area of service delivery as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Post‑registration experience in nursing with the ability to confidently provide care for complex infection conditions.
* Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Willingness to travel across the delivery area.
* Member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
