Location: Hybrid office and remote working as led by business need – with main presence at The Lumen, St James' Boulevard, Newcastle upon Tyne.
Salary: £50,269 to £54,495 per annum
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Reporting to: Assistant Director Legal and Governance
We are looking to appoint two proactive Lawyers to deliver high-quality legal services to the Combined Authority.
Experience in one or more of the following areas is essential:
* contracts and general commercial matters (including grant funding agreements)
* commissioning and procurement
* local authority governance
* information governance law (including FOI and data protection)
* employment
About You
As well as the relevant experience outlined above, you will have the following experience, knowledge, skills and qualities:
* excellent written and verbal communication skills
* ability to develop strong working relationships with a range of internal and external partners
* ability to manage a substantial caseload
