ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Technology solutions to meet emerging/challenging customer requirements.
* Extend support to design teams on analysis and solution to complex control and hardware design issues.
* Design reviews
* Develop mathematical tools for power circuit and control design/iteration
* Provide guidance and suggestion to improve efficiency, performance, reliability, cost during product development.
* Technical training to design teams
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communications Engineering with more than 12 years’ experience (essential)
* Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics and Communications Engineering with 7+ years’ experience (desirable)
* PhD in Power electronics preferred (desirable)
* Knowledge in:
o Power circuit, Analog and digital control design of single and three phase PFC, hard- switched, ZVS, resonant DC-DC converters
o Modeling and analysis of control loops – Mathematical and simulation
o Modelling, design and analysis of complex magnetic circuits
o EMI filter design
* Keeps up to date with the latest developments in the industry i.e. Wide Band Gap devices - GaN and SiC
* Expertise in using PLECS, Simetrix/Simplis, Mathcad,Matlab, PSIM simulation tools
* High degree of mathematical ability
* Good verbal and written communication
