Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated General Manager to lead a West Yorkshire based food manufacturing business to identify and achieve its significant growth potential. Supported by and part of a one of the UK's longest standing and well-established food manufacturers, this is a unique opportunity for an ambitious and commercially driven General Manager. Responsibilities will include:
3. Full ownership of site P&L
4. Responsibility for all manufacturing operations
5. Accountability for commercial performance across sales, E-Com and marketing
6. Development and implementation of strategic plan inline with growth potential
7. Build and develop a high performing and engaged team
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of scaling business operations with a focus on improving process and will have a strong commitment to employee development and engagement. They will possess a range of the following:
8. Solid experience in a leadership role within the food manufacturing industry
9. Demonstrable experience in scaling operations and increasing T/O
10. Commercially astute and ability to drive growth and profitability
11. Proven ability to develop and implement operational strategies
12. Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships
13. Proven ability to align, engage and motivate team members and demonstrate high levels of emotional intelligence to support workforce development
14. Strong decision making skills and comfortable with high levels of autonomy
