This appointment is for a locum Consultant Dermatologist for 1 year at University Hospitals Dermatology Team.
Overview
Join an eight‑consultant team at an exciting time as cross‑site teams are brought together. Sub‑specialty interests such as Mohs micrographic surgery, medical dermatology and dermatopathology are encouraged and supported.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide dermatology services to patients in Dorset and Hampshire from Christchurch and Poole Hospital units.
* Participate in an out‑of‑hours rota, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays, with remuneration in line with NHS terms.
* Support and develop sub‑specialty areas within the team.
* Assist with the transition and possible relocation of services following the merger and new hospital programme.
Qualifications & Experience
* Consultant‑level experience in dermatology.
* Relevant training or strong interest in sub‑specialties such as Mohs micrographic surgery, medical dermatology or dermatopathology.
* Availability for a full‑time, 1‑year fixed‑term contract, with flexibility for part‑time applicants.

* Remuneration for out‑of‑hours work per NHS Medical and Dental Terms and Conditions of Service.
