Smart Education is recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils aged 5–16 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in West Bromwich.
This is a rewarding opportunity for an SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting young people with additional needs and helping them achieve positive outcomes in education.
About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with SEMH needs, including those within alternative provision settings. Working closely with teachers and support staff, the successful SEN Teaching Assistant will help pupils develop emotional resilience, positive behaviour, and engagement in learning.

Requirements for an SEN Teaching Assistant
* Experience working with SEMH pupils or within a similar setting
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills
* A patient, adaptable, and compassionate approach
* Ability to support tailored learning activities and behaviour interventions
* Experience within alternative provision settings is beneficial
