Ysgol Gyfun Y Strade is a forward thinking, ambitious, and highly respected Welsh medium secondary school at the heart of the Llanelli community. With almost 1,300 learners (estimated to reach 1,400 by September 2027) aged 11–18 and a thriving Sixth Form, the school has long played a central role in promoting high‑quality Welsh‑medium education and contributing to the cultural life of the area.
We are seeking an inspirational, committed, and dynamic Headteacher who can build on the school's strong foundations and lead it confidently into the future.

The Governing Body is seeking a Headteacher who:
