Introduction
A great opportunity to join Transport for Wales (TfW) as the IT and Digital Projects Controller who is responsible for managing the delivery of project control information to key stakeholders to support the delivery of project outcomes required by the wider business.
Role responsibilities
You\\\'ll discuss IT and Digital Services project progress with Project Managers (PMs) to compile, define and deliver a suite of regular management reports to ensure that stakeholders are given regular and consistent information for review and decision making.
You\\\'ll utilise a range of tools available such as Microsoft (MS) Office, MS SharePoint, and MS Power BI to collate relevant information that can be used to inform a range of audiences on matters relating to progress, risk, and changes.
You\\\'ll support the Heads of IT and Digital Services and Senior PMs with analysis and insights by reviewing project progress/risks/changes to provide input and suggestions on changes that need to be made to ensure that project milestones are achieved.
You\\\'ll promote best practice across the team by setting direction on project reporting to ensure that documentation and project controls are in accordance with the agreed project frameworks and methodologies.
Who we\\\'re looking for
We are looking for someone with previous experience in a project control, project support or project management role within an IT of digital project environment.
Essential
* A thorough understanding of project controls and methodologies.
* Demonstrable experience of using Microsoft apps and tools to deliver project controls and reports.
* Experience of dealing with projects reports presented to Executive level.
Welsh Language Skills
The ability to speak/write Welsh would make a great addition to your application, but it is not essential for this role.
