Nursery Practitioner – Full-Time / Permanent
Location: Bishop's Stortford
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm with one half-day off each week (either 8am–2pm or 2pm–6pm)

Are you passionate about early childhood education and ready to make a difference in young lives? We are currently recruiting Level 2 and Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our warm and nurturing setting in Bishop's Stortford.
About the Role:
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be a key part of our dedicated and enthusiastic team, helping to create a safe, stimulating, and fun learning environment for children aged 0-5.
Responsibilities Include:
Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities to support the EYFS curriculum
Building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Supporting children’s learning and development through play
Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children at all times
Observing and tracking children's progress and reporting to the Room Leader/Manager
Promoting inclusive practice and safeguarding policies
Qualifications & Requirements:
We are hiring for both Level 2 and Level 3 positions:
Level 2 Nursery Practitioner:
Hold a recognised Level 2 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (e.g. NCFE, CACHE, NVQ)
Some experience in a nursery or childcare setting preferred
A caring and patient nature with good communication skills
Level 3 Nursery Practitioner:
Hold a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development
Experience working in a nursery environment
Ability to take initiative and lead activities confidently
