Job Title: Health & Safety Advisor (M&E / Construction) Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 plus travel and company package Location: Central London, Cambridge, or surrounding areas (hybrid working model) Company Description I'm recruiting on behalf of a leading Building Services Contractor known for delivering high-profile M&E projects across London and the UK Due to project expansion and internal progression opportunities, they are seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join the team. The successful candidate will oversee Health & Safety across three landmark developments near Kings Cross. This is a hybrid role with site visits and occasional office-based working. The ideal candidate will be motivated by career growth, with a clear pathway to progress into a Regional H&S Manager role within 16-18 months. Ideally candiaets will come from a trades background. Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar H&S role within M&E, construction, or a related field Electrical bias preferred, but strong M&E knowledge is essential Trade background or practical on-site experience highly desirable Experience conducting audits is essential Candidates with a H&S Co-ordinator background may be considered for development into the role (not the preferred route) Open to candidates from other industries with transferable H&S experience Responsibilities / Skills & Experience: Conducting regular inspections and site audits to ensure compliance with H&S regulations Advising project teams on site safety strategies and setting objectives Investigating incidents and implementing corrective measures Promoting safety culture through active engagement and hazard reporting Identifying areas for improvement in H&S systems and introducing best practices Communicating updates in legislation or process changes to site teams Ensuring safe working environments aligned with statutory and company standards Remuneration Package: Competitive salary circa £50,000 - £55,000 Fully expensed travel Discretionary performance bonus Contributory pension scheme 25 days annual leave Career development support and progression into senior H&S management
