We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate and proactive SEN Educator to join the team on a full-time basis. You will be supporting students aged 16 to 18 with a range of additional needs, helping them access learning, build confidence and develop life skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support for students with SEN and ASD
* Assist teachers in delivering tailored learning activities
* Promote emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
* Help create a calm, safe and encouraging classroom environment
* Support students in developing independence and communication skills
* Work closely with staff, therapists and pastoral teams to meet individual needs

Essential Experience
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
* A minimum of 6 months childcare experience, ideally within an SEN setting
* Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs
* A calm, patient and empathetic approach
* A genuine passion for helping vulnerable learners succeed

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
