About the role As the Digital Media Buying Manager, you will report into the Head of International Media, working within the eCommerce department. You are responsible for developing and leading the operational management of our digital media activity, in order to maximise the profitable acquisition of new customers and generation of sales from existing customers, from key media channels such as PPC, PLA and Social advertising across multiple specific International markets. You will work closely with our media agency and key partners to deliver profitable performance campaigns as well as managing a team of media buying experts. What else is involved? Implement the strategy for Digital advertising for NEXT within the given International regions Drive planning, creation and optimisation of digital campaigns Manage the relationship with the media agency and our media partners Monitor & work with the agency to optimise all activity Work with the partners to explore new and innovative opportunities Manage the reporting for your channel/campaigns Regularly present key campaign findings/insight identified Stay up to date with the digital media landscape Lead cross channel reporting to inform key stakeholders and in order to optimise future activity and improve budget allocation decisions Highlight opportunities for further growth in channel performance whilst maintaining profitability You’ll be doing all this from our Leicestershire Head Office. What we’re looking for Experience of all digital performance media channels (PPC/Display/Social) In-depth technical knowledge of the digital media buying platforms, understanding of eCommerce platforms and data layers. Strong numeracy and excel skills Strong communicator Experience of planning and optimizing across performance digital media channels Experience of managing partners and/or agency relationships High attention to detail Logical – finds it easy to problem solve Collaborative and works well as part of a team Strong technical knowledge essential Confident dealing with multiple senior stakeholders Confident to recommend and present activity/plans With experience in managing substantial budgets, campaigns and delivering an agreed strategy you will have great technical knowledge of the buying platforms, marketing tech infrastructures, be highly analytical, results orientated and able to work accurately at pace.
