Senior lecturer in medical ultrasound

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching and learning that supports the delivery of modules and/or the programme, aiming for excellent learning outcomes for students.
• Engage in research, scholarly and professional activity to enhance and inform teaching design, delivery and curriculum development.
• Contribute to obstetrics, gynaecology, general medicine and ultrasound technology, promoting holistic, patient‑centred care.
• Lead and actively contribute to the design, development and assessment of modules, and take overall responsibility for the academic quality and currency of modules and/or the programme.
• Fulfil a visible leadership role within the teaching team, demonstrating strong interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.

Location

Based at the Glenside Campus in Stapleton, just three miles from Bristol city centre. Most of your time will be spent on campus with the option to work from home with agreement from your people manager.

This is a permanent, part‑time post working on a 0.6FTE contract. This post is not available on a job share basis.

Qualifications and Requirements

Enhanced DBS clearance is required. Candidates must provide valid documentation confirming right to work in the UK before employment begins; visa sponsorship is not provided.
