Hours: 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Thursday (NO FRIDAYS)
About the role
Amey is recruiting a PAT Tester to join the team in Oldbury-on-Severn. This is a secure, site‑based role offering a 4‑day working week, a supportive team environment, and a strong focus on quality over speed.
Working on‑site, you’ll ensure all electrical equipment is safe, compliant and tested to current standards. The environment is structured and safety‑led, with a focus on accuracy and quality.
Key responsibilities
* Carry out Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) across site
* Ensure all equipment complies with current safety standards
* Maintain accurate testing records and documentation
* Work safely and in line with procedures
* Manage your own workload while supporting the team
What you’ll bring
Required
* City & Guilds 2377 (PAT Testing qualification)
* Strong organisational skills
* Excellent attention to detail
* Basic IT skills
* Previous PAT testing experience
* Experience using SimplyPATS software
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Proactive approach
