KS1 Supply Teacher - Barnstaple
Are you a passionate and adaptable Key Stage 1 Teacher looking for flexible work in Barnstaple and the surrounding areas? Teaching Personnel is working closely with local primary schools to recruit committed and enthusiastic KS1 Supply Teachers for September starts.

Role DetailsPosition: KS1 Supply TeacherLocation: Barnstaple and surrounding areasStart Date: SeptemberPay: £130 - £150 per day (depending on experience)Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pmContract: Flexible supply, short-term, long-term, full-time or part-timePlanning Required? About the Role
* Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stage 1
* Follow pre-planned lessons and ensure continuity of learning
* Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
* Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
* Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback where required
* Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
* Uphold school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour management
* Adapt quickly to different school settings and classroom needs
What We're Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching KS1 in UK primary schools (including placements)
* Strong classroom management and confident behaviour strategies
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Flexible, reliable, and professional approach
* Commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
