1. Assembling, checking, and preparing the appropriate anaesthetic equipment, emergency drugs, and consumables for a wide range of operative procedures incorporating various types of anaesthesia.
2. Conducting mandatory patient safety checks in conjunction with the team and according to policy, including a 'pause' prior to administration of regional anaesthesia.
3. Assisting the Anaesthetist throughout the perioperative phase of care.
