About the role
Our Catering Assistants work in our Partner (employee) dining rooms across various Partnership locations. You'll provide excellent service to fellow Partners, ensuring a positive catering experience. The role can be fast-paced, but by maintaining high standards in food preparation and presentation, you'll contribute to the best possible service.
You will also support other catering tasks, including stock replenishment and managing deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
1. Work as part of a team to ensure smooth catering operations.
2. Provide positive Partner interactions with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
3. Follow procedures and instructions in accordance with the 'Health and Safety at Work Act' and 'Food Safety Act'.
4. Ensure stock is replenished and available for customers.
5. Minimize food wastage through careful stock rotation and attention to detail.
6. Act promptly and use your initiative to resolve operational issues.
7. Maintain personal hygiene standards.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
* Previous catering experience.
* Experience working in a forward-thinking, customer-facing environment.
Desirable Skills and Experience
* Food Safety Level 2 & 3.
* Additional Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
