We are seeking an exceptional and forward‑thinking Strategic Director of Adult Social Care and Health to lead our vision for outstanding adult social care and public health services, to champion independence, dignity, and wellbeing for residents and to be a key system leader within local health and social care partnerships.
This is a pivotal leadership role at the heart of our organisation. You will shape strategic direction, drive innovation, and ensure that our services are compassionate, sustainable, and responsive to the diverse needs of our communities. Working closely with elected members, partners, providers and our dedicated workforce, you will help us deliver integrated, person‑centred services that make a meaningful difference every day.

* Population Health services that promote and support health improvements

* Strong partnerships with health partners, voluntary and community organisations

* A proven track record of senior leadership in adult social care, public health or a related field
* Deep understanding of statutory responsibilities, regulatory frameworks, and sector challenges
* The confidence to lead complex change with clarity, empathy, and ambition
* A commitment to co‑production, inclusion, and empowering people to live fulfilling lives
* The ability to inspire teams and build trusted relationships across systems
