The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to take ownership of multiple £10–15m MEP packages across high-profile mission critical construction projects.
This is a regional leadership role, overseeing delivery teams across several live sites, acting as the senior commercial and contractual lead while maintaining strong client relationships and driving performance across the portfolio. As the business continues to expand geographically, this role will grow in scope and influence.
Key Responsibilities
* Full contractual, commercial and operational oversight of multiple MEP packages (£10–15m each) ranging from mechanical, black utilities, to full MEP scope
* Line management and mentorship of Project Managers, ensuring consistency in delivery, reporting and standards
* Ownership of regional budget management, cost control, forecasting and financial reporting
* Client-facing responsibility, acting as the senior point of contact for programme, commercial and delivery matters
* Ensure robust reporting into the UK Director on project performance, risk, programme and margin
* Manage variations, claims, procurement strategies and subcontractor performance
* Drive best practice across health & safety, quality, programme and commercial governance
* Support regional growth, mobilisation of new projects and expansion into additional regions
About You
* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager within mission critical or complex MEP construction such as Life Sciences/Pharma/Labs
* Strong background managing multiple concurrent projects or packages in the £10m+ range
* Mechanical bias essential; experience within data centres, life sciences, pharmaceutical or critical environments highly desirable
* Commercially astute with strong contract administration and cost management capability
* Confident leader with experience managing and developing Project Managers
* Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
* Able to operate autonomously while contributing strategically at regional level
