We are seeking a candidate with Art & Design experience to coordinate and teach an art course, nurturing the next generation of artists. This role involves delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment within the College and exploring new directions for learning provision.
The primary focus will be on Art & Design, with opportunities to develop community courses. The candidate may also cover lessons in the College for Level 2 and 3 learners. Our curriculum covers a broad range of Art & Design skills, including both 2D and 3D practices, requiring a versatile skill set across various materials, techniques, and processes.
Applicants should hold a degree (or equivalent) in Art & Design; vocational qualifications and experience will also be considered. A PGCE or relevant teaching qualification is essential, or the willingness to study to obtain one. In-service training can be provided for graduates without a teaching qualification.
