Description
We are seeking an Early Talent Attraction Assistant to join the Claims Solutions Group Talent Attraction team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role supports the growth of our Early Talent strategy and is ideal for a HR or Recruitment Administrator passionate about early talent attraction, seeking to gain experience for their next career step.
The role involves providing efficient recruitment services to stakeholders, external candidates, and internal colleagues for Early Talent opportunities such as Apprenticeships, Paralegals, and Claims Handlers. You will support the Early Talent Attraction Advisor with recruitment coordination and assist in transitioning successful candidates into the business. You will also be a key contact for Early Talent Attraction inquiries.
Who you’ll be working with
You will be part of the CSG Talent Attraction team, which provides evolving Early Talent services. The focus is on building pipelines with the skills needed to deliver exceptional client service. The role is contracted to Birmingham or Newport, with attendance at assessment centres, careers fairs, schools, colleges, and universities across the UK. We are a remote team of five, supporting significant home working, and applications from all locations are welcome, with travel to Birmingham and Newport as required.
What you will do
* Support all recruitment activities for Paralegal, Claims Handling, and Paralegal Apprentice vacancies.
* Assist with trainee recruitment in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
* Coordinate assessment day activities, including planning, preparation, welcoming candidates, and overseeing assessments.
* Develop relationships with stakeholders, recruitment advisors, HRBP's, and the wider HR team.
* Manage relationships with colleges, schools, and universities, aligning with our Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion strategy, and coordinate open days, events, and career fairs.
* Handle queries from prospective candidates and colleagues about our early talent programs.
* Support ad hoc projects and onboarding activities.
Who you are
* Experience in HR or Recruitment is beneficial.
* Enthusiastic about early talent attraction, with relevant experience or background in education careers services.
* Committed to providing a positive candidate experience.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage deadlines calmly.
