Our team in Livingston, Scotland, are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Administrator. You will be responsible for coordinating shipments, creating pick lists, deliveries and stock management. You will provide administrative support to the warehouse team and wider business operation; dealing with emails, cases and phone enquiries, liaising with clients and suppliers in a timely manner, and providing support to the Logistics Manager as required
Responsibilities:
* Using a variety of warehouse control systems for all operations including, picking, packing, despatch and shipping. ·
* Preparing picking lists and emergency stock orders
* Checking there is enough stock to fulfil orders and highlighting any shortages to the Logistics Manager
* Informing engineers or other relevant people if orders are unable to be fulfilled due to stock shortages
* Checking stock is picked up from PUDOs and transfers are dealt with correctly
* Answering stock queries from the wider business in a prompt and helpful manner
* Have responsibility for quality assurance and housekeeping.
* Liaising and work effectively with the wider Warehouse team.
* Assist in audits and all stock checking requirements.
* All tasks shall be carried out whilst ensuring the use of safe working practices in compliance with the Health and Safety work Acts.
* Ability to work with others in a team and under direction.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in warehouse or stores
* Excellent punctuality and attendance are essential.
* Must be able to lift and move boxes of up to 20Kg
* High attention to detail and a quick learner.
* Hardworking, flexible, and reliable.
* Computer skills.
* Ability to work under pressure, prioritise and multitask.
