Job Description
The Extractables & Leachables Testing department evaluates container closure systems, delivery systems, manufacturing components, and medical devices for extractable and leachable compounds that may pose health risks. Responsibilities include:
* Performing analyses of biopharmaceutical ingredients and products accurately and precisely
* Reviewing and preparing standards and samples for analysis, operating equipment independently
* Troubleshooting instrumental and methodological issues
* Working efficiently, proactively, and productively
* Ensuring quality data for clients by reviewing laboratory data for accuracy and compliance with GMP/GLP regulations
* Evaluating systems and suggesting improvements
* Writing detailed investigations independently
* Supporting multiple projects simultaneously
* Demonstrating leadership and training new analysts
Qualifications
Required:
* Experience with GC/MS and/or ICP systems
* Experience with Extractables and Leachables testing
* Experience with ISO10993 and/or ISO18562 testing
* Experience in a cGMP, GLP, or ISO17025 compliant laboratory
* Method development and validation experience
* Identifying unknown compounds via mass spectrometry
* Polymer science education or experience
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry or related field
* At least 1 year of LCMS operation experience
* Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
