Are you an experienced Healthcare Assistant committed to providing excellent patient care? Have you always wanted to work in healthcare but don't have the formal experience? Do you want a new challenge, and have the passion to make a difference? If so, we have the ideal opportunity for committed and compassionate individuals to join our supportive and friendly teams at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust.
If you are shortlisted, you will be invited to undertake an online maths and English assessment. You will need to meet the trust’s pass mark to be invited to interview. If successful and invited to interview, there will be 3 dates available to choose from for a face-to-face interview.
In accordance with Patients' Individual Care Plan, support patients to meet and maintain their hygiene needs, which may include actions such as:
1. Undertake total hygiene needs for patients
2. Assist patients to wash and dress
3. Assist patients to shower
4. Assist patients with mouth care, including teeth and dentures
5. Assist with hair care
6. Assist with nail care
7. Undertake eye care
8. Assist with shaving
9. Reporting and documentation of all patient care activities, including any changes or deterioration
