Overview
A major UK bank is seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Lead at the VP level to drive data quality and analytical processes within the Product Lifecycle Catalogue (hardware and software) underpinning IT Asset Management (ITAM) in ServiceNow. This role, driven by regulatory requirements, involves close collaboration with the Solution Architect and Data Engineer to ensure data integrity and to derive actionable insights that enhance operational efficiency and resource optimization.
Key Responsibilities
* Data Quality Implementation: Develop and enforce data quality processes and procedures to ensure that the data is reliable, trustworthy, and accurate.
* Actionable Insights: Extract and analyze data to produce actionable insights that support the bank's strategic objectives and optimize operational resources.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the Solution Architect and Data Engineer to align data strategies with overall IT and business goals.
* Strategic Thinking: Provide strategic input on data analytics and business intelligence (BI), ensuring alignment with the bank's broader digital and transformation goals.
* Change Management: Lead change initiatives to improve data processes and integrate new digital technologies effectively.
* Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with data processes, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
* Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance data analytics processes, focusing on improving efficiency, accuracy, and business outcomes.
Mandatory Requirements
* Data Algorithms & Mining: Expertise in developing and applying data algorithms and mining techniques to extract valuable insights.
* Requirements Analysis: Ability to conduct comprehensive requirements analysis to inform data solutions.
* Business Intelligence (BI): Strong background in BI tools and methodologies to support data-driven decision-making.
* Data Warehousing (DW): Experience in designing and managing data warehousing solutions to support large-scale data analysis.
* Data Quality Management: Proven track record in implementing and managing data quality processes.
* Strategic Thinking & Digital Transformation: Ability to align data strategies with digital transformation initiatives and long-term business objectives.
* Problem Solving & Process Improvements: Excellent problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement of data processes and tools.
* Policies & Procedures: Experience in developing and enforcing data-related policies and procedures.
* Risk & Controls: Strong understanding of risk management practices, particularly in relation to data governance and regulatory compliance.
