Role Overview
This is a permanent hybrid post working 35 hours per week. The role is based primarily on remote work with occasional in‑person team collaboration in Lochgilphead or Helensburgh.
Responsibilities
* Support Senior IT Engineers and the IT Officer in delivering high‑quality, efficient, and effective ICT services to the Council.
* Work in partnership with colleagues within and beyond the service to meet the team's service objectives and plans.
* Provide technical assistance on projects requiring ICT expertise, such as the introduction of new or replacement systems and technologies.
* Travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Argyll and Bute and beyond to meet operational requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum qualification at HNC level in an IT discipline. Relevant experience in supporting large council systems and ICT projects is required.
