The Role
As Housekeeper & Kitchen Assistant, you’ll ensure a clean, welcoming, and hygienic environment across the nursery while helping with food preparation and kitchen duties.
Housekeeping
* Clean and maintain playrooms, bathrooms, staff areas, and communal spaces to a high standard.
* Carry out daily cleaning tasks: vacuuming, mopping, sanitising, and dusting.
* Disinfect high-touch surfaces and manage laundry for towels and cleaning cloths.
* Replenish essential supplies (soap, paper towels, etc.) and monitor cleaning stock.
* Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
Kitchen Support
* Assist the Chef during meal service and help deliver meals to nursery rooms.
* Wash and sanitise kitchenware, dishes, and food preparation areas.
* Help with basic food prep and storage of ingredients.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation in line with food hygiene standards.
About You
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
* Good time management and reliability.
* Friendly and positive team player.
Desirable
* Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, or kitchen roles.
* Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety (or willingness to train).
