The Role Full-time 1:1 Teaching Assistant position Supporting pupils aged 5–16 Working hours: 8.30am to 3.30pm Immediate start available Primary and secondary support opportunities Providing consistent one-to-one support to help pupils access learning Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, engagement, and daily routines Student Needs Pupils may present with a range of special educational needs, including: Autism spectrum conditions Learning and communication difficulties Social, emotional and behavioural needs Sensory processing differences Requirements Minimum of 6 months’ childcare experience, particularly supporting children with SEN A calm, patient and resilient approach Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils Must be able to drive due to the rural location of the school Willingness to work closely with teaching and support staff Why Work with Teaching Personnel Competitive weekly pay - £13.75 per hour Access to free CPD and SEN-focused training Ongoing support from a dedicated education consultant A trusted education agency committed to your professional development All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
