About the Role As a Seamstress / Curtain Maker, you will be responsible for creating, repairing, and altering a range of soft furnishings used across film sets, including curtains, drapes, and other fabric-based props. Working closely with the design and set departments, you’ll ensure all textiles are finished to the highest standard and meet production requirements and deadlines. Key Responsibilities Cutting, sewing, and assembling curtains and soft furnishings to specification. Liaising with designers and production staff to interpret creative briefs. Ensuring all materials are produced to a professional, film-quality finish. Performing alterations and repairs as needed. Maintaining a clean and organised work area. Skills and Experience Proven experience as a Seamstress, Curtain Maker, or Textile Fabricator. Background in film, television, or stage production preferred. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. Ability to work efficiently to meet production deadlines. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Benefits £15 per hour.
