Job Details Grade: CS0-5 / Grade: PR-TCH-PT3 Salary: £32,217 - £50,589 per annum / £59,727 per annum Contract Duration: Temporary until 16/08/2026 Hours - 35 hours This is a fixed term, full-time post combining Principal Teacher responsibilities with class teaching. From August until October, the post will be full-time Principal Teacher, then from October until the end of the school year, it will consist of three days Principal Teacher and two days class teaching. These should give reasonable regard to overall teacher workload related to: 1. All duties related to teaching of assigned classes within the curriculum * 2. Assessing, recording and reporting on work of pupils 3. Providing advice and guidance to pupils on issues related to their education 4. Participating in issues relating to school planning, raising achievement and attainment and individual review 5. Responsibility for the leadership, good management and strategic direction of colleagues 6. Curriculum development and quality assurance within the school and across the learning community 7. Contributing to the development of school policy in relation to the behaviour management of pupils 8. The management and guidance of colleagues 9. Reviewing the CPD needs, career development and performance of colleagues 10. The provision of advice, support and guidance to colleagues 11. Implementation of whole school policies dealing with guidance issues, pastoral care, assessment and pupil welfare 12.
